Ice Cream Social

 Our Ice Cream Social is an event we hold once a year where young girls who are interested in STEM can connect and socialize with industry professional women. This event allows students to talk to women who have found success in pursuing STEM. By interacting with these real life role models, students are more confident and inspired to pursue STEM. After everyone is done eating, we demo our FRC Robot and give the younger attendees a tour of our FTC and FRC shop so they can gain insight into a possible future in high school robotics and to bolster their excitement for STEM.

Our main goal with the Ice Cream Social is to open doors fo young girls. We host this event as an opportunity for them to connect and network with not only the girls on our team, but also industry professionals! We love having the professionals at the Social so we can hear from these incredible women who have found their path to success through STEM. They always share their many unique careers and represent just how many career paths are available with a STEM education. These real life role models are always more than inspiring to these young girls.

To support other girls in STEM, our team is encouraging participation and celebrating girls involved in STEM. It is a great opportunity to meet other women in STEM fields and the bright girls on our team.
