"The Westlake Robotics Team has made a big impact on the Special Education community in Eanes over the past few years.  They have shown support for inclusion by attending and participating in our 2022 Friendship Walk that supports our Best Buddies Chapters.  The team has also reached out to campuses and teachers to find students who could benefit from adaptive toys and have created specific toys to engage students in play and learning.  The delivery of these toys is such an amazing moment for the students, staff and parents.  The team has also spearheaded a Unified Robotics Team where they work alongside students with disabilities to engage them in learning about robotics and provide rich social opportunities.  All of these activities that the Westlake Robotics Team has created exemplifies the spirit of inclusion that our District strives for and has made a positive impact on our students and community.  FRC 2468 Team Appreciate has been and continues to be an amazing opportunity for students of all abilities - thank you!" - Sarah Ofczarzak, Educational Partner, Special Education, Eanes
